A Visit to the Zoo

Last Saturday, my class went to the zoo. It was a very exciting day. The first animal we saw was the lion. It was a very big and strong animal. It roared very loudly. Then, we saw the monkeys. They were very funny. They were jumping and climbing the trees. I also saw the giraffes. They have very long necks and are very tall. I was very surprised. We also saw many other animals, like elephants, zebras, and penguins.

The penguins were very cute. They were swimming in the water. We had lunch at the zoo. I ate a hot dog. It was a great trip. I learned a lot about different animals. I want to go to the zoo again with my family.
