Going to the Grocery Store

Every Saturday morning, I go to the grocery store with my dad. He gives me the shopping list. The list has things like milk, bread, eggs, and fruit. We take a shopping cart and start looking for the items. First, we go to the vegetable section. We buy carrots, potatoes, and tomatoes. Then we go to the dairy section to get milk and cheese.

My favorite part is the snack aisle. I always get to choose one thing, usually a bag of chips. My dad says it is important to eat healthy food, but a little snack is okay. When we are done, we go to the checkout. The lady scans all the items. Then we pay and go home. It is a little boring, but it is important to have food at home.
