My Favorite Animal: The Dog

My favorite animal is the dog. I have a dog named Buddy. He is a Golden Retriever. He is very friendly and playful. I love to play with him in the park. He loves to run and chase the ball. He is very smart. He can sit, stay, and give me his paw. I feed him twice a day. He eats special dog food. I also give him treats when he is a good boy. We go for a walk every evening. He likes to sniff everything.

He makes me feel very happy. When I am sad, he comes and puts his head on my lap. He is my best friend. I cannot imagine my life without him. He is a part of our family. I think all dogs are a gift. They give us so much love.
