The School Play

Last month, my school put on a play. It was called "The Magical Forest." I was a tree. It was not a big role, but it was still fun. We practiced for many weeks after school. Our teacher, Mrs. Smith, was very patient. She helped us with our lines and our movements.

On the day of the play, I was very nervous. There were a lot of people in the audience, including my family. But when I got on the stage, the nerves went away. We all did a very good job. The audience clapped loudly at the end. My mom said I was the best tree she had ever seen. I was very happy. I hope to be in another play next year. It was a great experience. I learned a lot.
