Attending a Yoga Class

I started attending a yoga class about three months ago, and it has become an important part of my routine. I go twice a week, on Monday and Thursday mornings before work. My class is at a small studio near my apartment. The instructor is very calm and guides us through the different poses. At the beginning of each class, we sit quietly and focus on our breathing. This helps me to clear my mind and prepare for the practice. We then move into various poses, or "asanas," which help to stretch and strengthen my body. Some poses are challenging, but the instructor always offers modifications, so I can go at my own pace. Yoga is not just about physical exercise; it also helps me to be more present and aware of my body. It has improved my flexibility and balance, but more importantly, it has helped me to feel more relaxed and centered. At the end of the class, we lie down in "Savasana," a resting pose, which is my favorite part. It’s a moment of total relaxation before I start my busy day.
