My alarm goes off at 6:30 AM, signaling the start of a new day. The first thing I do is hit the snooze button at least once, maybe twice. After finally getting out of bed, I head straight to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I prefer to use cold water to help wake me up. Then, I go to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee. I can’t function without it. While the coffee is brewing, I quickly check my phone for any important messages or emails that came in overnight. I usually scroll through social media for a few minutes, too, but I try not to get lost in it. Once my coffee is ready, I sit at the kitchen table and enjoy it with a simple breakfast, like a slice of toast with jam or a bowl of cereal. This is my quiet time before the day gets busy. I review my schedule and make a mental list of my top priorities. Getting ready for work or school is the next step. I choose my clothes, get dressed, and make sure I have everything I need for the day. My morning routine is the foundation of my day; it helps me feel organized and prepared for whatever comes my way. It's a peaceful and consistent start that I truly value.
