My Weekly Meal Prep

To save time and eat healthier during the week, I do my meal prep every Sunday. I plan my meals for the next five days, which helps me stay organized. I start by making a list of the ingredients I need. Then, I go to the grocery store to buy everything. Once I get home, the real work begins. I chop all the vegetables for my lunches and dinners. I usually roast a large batch of chicken or bake a few salmon fillets. For lunch, I often make a big salad with different vegetables and a protein. I pack it in separate containers so it stays fresh. For dinner, I might make a large pot of chili or a pasta dish that can be easily reheated. I store everything in airtight containers in the fridge. This way, when I get home from work during the week, my meals are ready. It takes a lot of effort on Sunday, but it makes my week so much easier and prevents me from ordering unhealthy takeout. I'm able to eat nutritious, home-cooked meals even when I’m busy.
