Planning a Birthday Party

My best friend's birthday is coming up, and I'm helping to plan a surprise party for her. It's a lot of work, but it's a labor of love. The first step was to create a guest list and send out invitations via email, asking everyone to keep it a secret. Then, I chose a date and a location. We decided to have the party at a small restaurant that has a private room. I’ve been coordinating with the restaurant manager to arrange the menu and the seating. The next step is to decorate the room. My friends and I are going to buy balloons, banners, and a special cake. We've also decided to make a slideshow of pictures of my friend from different stages of her life. The final task is to choose the music. We want to make a playlist with all her favorite songs. It’s a lot to think about, but I'm having so much fun with the planning. I know my friend is going to be so surprised and happy.
